Hello fellow residents. My name is Melissa Loop. I have been developing a body of work loosely around the theme of Utopia. Most of what I make are paintings but I also love glue guns, masking tape, low grade craft materials. This summer I want to use the space to create a Throwaway Utopia. I imagine it to take about a week to execute and I would love it to end with a party and a band, musican, performer, or DJ of some type to complete the experience. I am open to people who want to collaborate in the spirit of this idea plus I need at least one person who would like to perform.
